19 minutos componen este nuevo EP de los capitalinos La Oveja Gritona, sin dudas afirmamos que la renovación en el rock independiente de Chile se puede graficar en este trabajo, uno muy completo que se disfruta de inicio a fin. Un disco compuesto por temas directos y potentes, que grafican la calidad musical que tenemos en el underground nacional.

«Miedo y resentimiento» el track que inicia los movedizos fuegos y que nos entrega el primer mensaje de brutalidad y técnica que se encontrara presente en todo el viaje musical de la Oveja. Un single muy bien registrado y que grafica la capacidad de la banda por sonar bien en conjunto de una gran dosis de rock pesado, el cual transita del stoner a la psicodelia también rozando constantemente con un rock clásico.

«Pedernal», el segundo single de este trabajo nos muestra una faceta más calmada pero no menos brutal en ejecución e interpretación. Destaca el sonido del bajo el cual lleva la batuta sonora constantemente y no solo en esta canción . Dicho sonido siempre complementado por los poderos riffs guitarrescos, mostrando que el rock pesado puede sonar bien. Acá también destaca el registro vocal y la suma de elementos más progresivos a la interpretación musical.

«Jairos», 3 tema y penúltimo trabajo de este EP. El sonido más cercano al grunge de todo este álbum. Este que inicia de forma pausada pero siempre con una gran fuerza sonora muy en formato unplugged el cual va evolucionando segundo a segundo para entregarnos un gran track que desemboca en un rock alternativo con tintes punk, con un final muy rápido y furioso. Esta canción refleja la gran versatilidad que tiene la Oveja para adaptarse a cualquier sonido y hacerlo sentir único. 

Ya finalizando este viaje suena «Mortecinos», un track pesado y progresivo hasta psicodélico  y uno de los puntos altos de este EP. Donde la interpretación se logra de forma perfecta . Realmente se siente la comunión en la banda, se nota que llevan varios años desarrollando su sonido. En este single suenan como una banda de rock clásico, pero logran imprimir su propio estilo , mezclando siempre varios estilos que rodean al rock and roll.

Un disco totalmente en español, que entrega un mensaje claro. El rock pesado también puede sonar bien.

19 minutes make up this new EP by La Oveja Gritona from the capital, without a doubt we affirm that the renewal of independent rock in Chile can be depicted in this work, a very complete one that can be enjoyed from start to finish. An album made up of direct and powerful songs, which show the musical quality we have in the national underground.

«Miedo y resentimiento» the track that starts the moving fires and that delivers us the first message of brutality and technique that will be found throughout the musical journey of Oveja. A very well recorded single that shows the band’s ability to sound good together with a large dose of heavy rock, which goes from stoner to psychedelia, also constantly bordering on classic rock.

«Pedernal», the second single from this album, shows us a calmer facet but no less brutal in execution and interpretation. The sound of the bass stands out, which constantly leads the sound and not only in this song. Said sound is always complemented by powerful guitar riffs, showing that heavy rock can sound good. Here also stands out the vocal range and the addition of more progressive elements to the musical interpretation.

«Jairos», 3 track and penultimate work of this EP. The closest sound to grunge on this entire album. This one that starts slowly but always with a great sound force very much in an unplugged format which evolves second by second to give us a great track that ends in an alternative rock with punk overtones, with a very fast and furious ending. This song reflects the great versatility that the Sheep has to adapt to any sound and make it feel unique.

At the end of this trip, «Mortecinos» sounds, a heavy and progressive track to the point of psychedelic and one of the high points of this EP. Where the interpretation is achieved perfectly. You really feel the communion in the band, you can tell that they have been developing their sound for several years. In this single they sound like a classic rock band, but they manage to print their own style, always mixing various styles that surround rock and roll.

An album entirely in Spanish, which delivers a clear message. Heavy rock can also sound good.
