La agrupación chilena radicada en Noruega, Protokol korsakov, acaba de presentar su álbum debut «Enter Saiko Latin». Una historia conceptual de dos hermanos que se encuentran sometidos a una desaparición. Un rock alternativo  experimental que transita por varios estilos y emociones. Incorporando tanto el español como el inglés en su lírica, entregando un trabajo particular e único.

Este trabajo intenso parte con «Shalashaska» y «Stonero». El primero entregando una poderosa dosis de rock alternativo, destacando el groove del bajo y el cantico casi mántrico que se imprime. Acompañados de unos riff simples pero efectivos y un coro pegajozo que te queda resonando´en el cerebro. El segundo track se pone aún más pesado, pero manteniendo toda la esencia de un rock furioso y callejero pero que también puede ser bailable.

«Bosajoint» uno de los puntos altos de este disco. Sin dudas de las piezas más experimentales y sublimes que mezclan diversos paisajes musicales que conviven naturalmente entre si. Entre vientos y percusiones resonando. La distorsión en la voz de la toda una esencia psicodélica conviviendo con la doble pedalera y una letra afilada que no se guarda nada, desatando furia y toda la mierda acumulada.

Continua este viaje sonoro con «Bleeding THC» el corte más progresivo y cercano al rock pesado. Acá el sonido del bajo destaca, llegando  a ser el esqueleto sonoro de este single. Ahora suena «The Happening» rock pesado experimental con mucha onda y fluyendo de manera natural, entregando una identidad propia, algo difícil de lograr en esta época de la musica.

«Last paraiso» y «Case recording: The Sacrifice» los últimos dos cortes de este interesante álbum. En la primera aflora el hard rock mezclado con música bailable , como una cumbia de rock y mucha psicodelia frotando por los poros. El último el track más extenso con 14 minutos donde transitan los discursos y un rock movilizado por la locura y la búsqueda.

En resumen estamos ante un gran álbum de rock alternativo experimental que con sólo 39 minutos logra llamar la atención por su propia identidad sonora.

The Chilean group based in Norway, Protokol korsakov, has just presented their debut album «Enter Saiko Latin». A conceptual story of two brothers who are subjected to a disappearance. An experimental alternative rock that goes through various styles and emotions. Incorporating both Spanish and English in his lyrics, delivering a particular and unique work.

This intense work starts with «Shalashaska» and «Stonero». The first delivering a powerful dose of alternative rock, highlighting the bass groove and the almost mantric chant that is printed. Accompanied by some simple but effective riffs and a catchy chorus that remains resonating in your brain. The second track gets even heavier, but keeping all the essence of a furious and street rock that can also be danceable.

«Bosajoint» one of the high points of this record. Undoubtedly one of the most experimental and sublime pieces that mix diverse musical landscapes that coexist naturally with each other. Between winds and percussions resounding. The distortion in the voice of the whole psychedelic essence coexisting with the double pedalboard and a sharp letter that does not save anything, unleashing fury and all the accumulated shit.

Continue this sound journey with «Bleeding THC» the most progressive cut and close to heavy rock. Here the sound of the bass stands out, becoming the sound skeleton of this single. Now «The Happening» sounds experimental heavy rock with a lot of vibes and flowing naturally, giving its own identity, something difficult to achieve in this era of music.

«Last paradise» and «Case recording: The Sacrifice» the last two cuts of this interesting album. In the first, hard rock mixed with danceable music emerges, like a rock cumbia and a lot of psychedelia rubbing through the pores. The last one is the longest track with 14 minutes where the speeches and a rock mobilized by madness and search go through.

In short, this is a great album of experimental alternative rock that with only 39 minutes manages to attract attention for its own sound identity.
