El sonido en general de Virginia Beat, así como enuncia el nombre del Ep, posee una amplia gama de colores, a la vez fríos y cálidos, como una foto de un jardín de campo en primavera, presentes durante toda la composición.

‘Volver paralizado’ abre con un beat acelerado y voces impulsivas que no te sueltan hasta el final, asimismo las guitarras anuncian desde el principio su llegada y permanecen durante toda la canción transformándose en una textura sonora agitada que te prepara para los nuevos paisajes por venir en las siguientes canciones.

En ’Contra reloj’ ya encontramos variedad de territorios sonoros, con guitarras de toques vintage, que vienen rápidamente invadidos por las letras siempre claras y de sonido brillante, armonizando a través de los valles y peaks de aceleración rítmica.

El estilo vintage de guitarras se hace más presente en El viaje, con sonidos metálicos y brillantes que recuerdan al synthrock y synthpop de finales de los 70’s y principios de los 80’s. Te transporta en una nave espacial cromada surfeando a través de un litoral ágatas cromáticas.

El último track del Ep, «Negativos a color», concreta la promesa hecha desde el principio, presentando variedad de ritmos y armonías coloridas que fluyen entre la agitación y la densidad contemplativa, siempre con una sensación optimista de búsqueda de la libertad.

Esperamos tener pronto más material de Virginia Beat, ya sea un disco nuevo o bien la culminación de éstas ideas sembradas, para conocer qué más nos puede ofrecer el jardín.

The sound of Virginia Beat, as announced in the name of the Ep, possesses a wide rainbow of colors, both warm and cold, like a picture of a countryside garden in spring, in which we reside during the whole record.

Volver paralizado, opens with a nervous beat and impetuous voices that won’t drop until the end, likewise, the guitars announce their entrance from the beginning and stay all along the track becoming an agitated sonic texture that prepares your ears for the new landscapes to come in the next songs.

In Contra reloj we already find a variety of sound territories, vintage-like guitars that are soon invaded by the always shiny lyrics, harmonizing through the valleys and peaks of rushing rhythm.

The vintage style in the guitars becomes more present in El viaje, with it’s metallic bright sounds that remind us of synthrock and synthpop from the end of the 70’s. Pretty much like flying in a oldschool spaceship, surfing over a chromatic agate beach.

The last track of the Ep, homonymous, delivers finally what was promised in its origins, showing a wide spectrum of rhythms and colorful harmonies that flow between excitement and contemplative states, always in its characteristic optimistic path to freedom.
