Desnivel es el tercer EP de En Zamvle, aquel trío de La Serena caracterizado por una fuerte presencia a la hora de tocar en vivo en la vertiente de la música más underground.

Sin más preámbulos, este último trabajo arranca con Acaso Escaso, que quizás es el tema que además de introducirnos, sirve para resumir de qué irán las vibraciones de lo que escucharemos. Con un ritmo mecánico, una aceleración muy monótona y unas vocales femeninas acaloradas: “Ya sentiste motivos, ya encontraste la certeza”, tenemos atisbos de esta nueva evolución en la banda, estando más orientada hacia el post-punk de antaño y el rock alternativo un tanto desprolijo.

Fusión, se encarga de reforzar esas nociones. Mantiene las ventilaciones depresoras, haciendo relevo a la voz a Marco y trayéndonos nuevamente el dueto femenino-masculino presente en los trabajos anteriores, acompañados por la batería de Maximiliano, la cual que se encarga tanto de saturar como de apagar las diferentes transiciones de minuto a minuto.

Cercanos a la mitad, Nadayef, se distingue por el protagonismo de las líneas de bajo al unirse al punzante sonido de guitarra. Guarda la apariencia de instrumental, pero luego logra manufacturarse con una resonancia de santuario, dando quiebres al final con ruidos extraños e invasores.

Acercándonos al final, Recetario da el pase al cuerpo más dance y rockero del EP. Ruth regresa y cristaliza su canto pasivo-agresivo, en una canción que sobresale por su extenso final, suave y encubridor. Finalmente, Paréntesis Vicio Crema, condensa los grados de agresividad y marca el tono más amenazante.

A diferencia de sus otros trabajos como Rockisdet y Nivel 1, ambos producidos el 2016, la banda resuelve con mejor calidad la producción de su sonido. Esto, considerando que este nuevo compacto se materializa en tan sólo tres meses, con el apoyo de Kuborecord en la grabación y Disodico mdm en la producción.

Desnivel no es un EP para escucharlo con mucha pausa y tampoco blanco de formatos comerciales. Esto es rock orgánico, una arquitectura con un descenso prolongado e intermitente, de un rótulo circular. Conserva la críptica esencia de En Zamvle, pero a la vez se arriesga en dar un nuevo paso, que no teme en sufrir accidente alguno.

En Zamvle – Desnivel (2017)

Desnivel is the third EP of En Zamvle, that trio of La Serena characterized by a strong presence when it comes to playing live on the slope of the most underground music.

Without further ado, this last work starts with Acaso Escaso, which perhaps is the topic that besides introducing us, serves to summarize what the vibrations of what we will hear will go. With a mechanical rhythm, a very monotonous acceleration and heated female vocals: “Ya sentiste motivos, ya encontraste la certeza”, we have glimpses of this new evolution in the band, being more oriented towards the post-punk of yesteryear and alternative rock somewhat untidy.

Fusion, is responsible for reinforcing those notions. Maintains the depressive vents, relieving Marco’s voice and bringing back the female-male duet present in the previous works, accompanied by Maximiliano’s drums, which is responsible for both saturating and shutting down the different minute transitions to minute.

Near to the middle, Nadayef, is distinguished by the prominence of the bass lines to join the piercing sound of guitar. It keeps the appearance of instrumental, but then manages to manufacture itself with a sanctuary resonance, giving breaks at the end with strange and invading noises.

Approaching the end, Recetario gives the pass to the most dance and rock body of the EP. Ruth returns and crystallizes her passive-aggressive singing, in a song that stands out for its extensive, soft and concealing ending. Finally, Paréntesis Vicio Crema condenses the degrees of aggressiveness and marks the most threatening tone.

Unlike its other works like Rockisdet and Nivel 1, both produced in 2016, the band solves the production of its sound with better quality. This, considering that this new compact materializes in just three months, with the support of Kuborecord in the recording and Disodico mdm in the production.

Desnivel is not an EP to listen to it with a lot of pause and not even commercial formats. It is an organic rock, an architecture with a prolonged and intermittent descent, of a circular sign. It retains the cryptic essence of En Zamvle, but at the same time takes the risk in taking a new step, which is not afraid of suffering any accident.
