Engrupid Pipol, banda formada por los ex integrantes de Sífilis, desarrollan en este L.P. instrumental lo que pareciera ser una búsqueda de su elemento base mediante nuevas mezclas de estilo, manteniendo la performance impecable que los caracteriza.

‘Essenchal Engrupid Element’ es la tarjeta de presentación, contiene la diversidad sonora que antecede el recorrido del material discográfico que se está por escuchar. Siempre en el espectro del metal, se pasea por estilos que recuerdan a varias eras del género, el tren de la batería te transporta a las alturas épicas de guitarras setenteras para luego caer en oscuridades agro noventeras y de vuelta, jactándose de la gran virtuosidad y potencia de todos los músicos.

‘Jueves de Trauko’ hace referencia a la cultura del sur, con guiños como guitarras acústicas rítmicas, vibraciones profundas como trutrucas y un trompe constante en todo el tema, pero pronto los ritmos y guitarras encienden el ritual hacia una oscuridad envolvente que transporta al imaginario de terror de la mitología folklórica. ‘Mama Oclo’ despierta en pie de guerra librando una batalla de riffs y bombos, para luego abrir paso a los punteos incendiarios que son el latido de esta máquina de la destrucción.

‘La Excepción de los Excesos’ pareciera continuar con el ritmo bélico, pero justo cuando crees que no habrá tregua, el tema cae al vacío y se regenera pantanoso y oscuro, sólo interrumpido por gestos de luz en armonías jazz, otras ambient y por supuesto heavy metal en una mezcla impredecible.

‘Remember Dis Member’ se presenta un poco más cercana al rock, también con inesperadas variaciones de tempo para no perder atención al beat implacable del bajo y la batería ametralladora.

‘Perra Loca’ abre desde el sonido de tus pesadillas, un laberinto de túneles donde serás acechado por riffs afilados y el ritmo galopante de una bestia maldita que crece y se acerca hasta atraparte. ‘Engrupid Pipol’ despide cantando el porqué del nombre: la intención del álbum de asombrar con variedad inesperada y un manejo admirable de cada uno de los instrumentos.

Con un sonido destacable, este disco está diseñado para exploradores de los inexactos límites de la música metal y sus maléficas bondades.

Ex-members of Progressive Metal band Sífilis’s new musical project, Engrupid Pipol, develop in this instrumental L.P. what seems to be the search of their base element through new blends of style, keeping the performance level at its highest.

‘Essenchal Engrupid Element’ its the introduction, contains the sound diversity that precedes the path of the discographic material that you’re facing. Always in the Metal spectrum, it wanders between styles that reminds us different eras of the genre, the drums train will take you to the epic heights of seventies guitars, and later down to 90’s-agro-feeling darkness, and back, showing permanently the great virtuosity and drive of each member of the band.

‘Jueves de Trauko’ pays reverence to southern chilean culture, with symbols like acoustic rhythmic guitars, strong, deep trutruca-like vibrations and the restless trompe althrough the song, though soon the drums and guitars turn on the ritual taking it to horrific folklore-mithology locations. ‘Mama Oclo’ awakens right in the warpath, setting on fire the riffs v/s drums battle, to soon make way to the shooting steel guitars that are the heartbeat of this machine of destruction.

‘La Excepción de los Excesos’ seems to continue the bellic path, but just when you think the truce is impossible, the song drops down into the void and it’s reborn into obscure swampy sounds, only interrupted by some unpredictable Jazz, Ambient and of course Heavy Metal glowing gestures.

‘Remember dis Member’ shows itself closer to Rock, keeping the sudden tempo variations that remind us not to lose focus to the ruthless bass beat and the hammering drums.

‘Perra Loca’ opens inside the sound of your nightmares, in a tunnel labyrinth where you’ll be haunted by sharp riffs and the galloping rhythm of a damned beast that grows to chase you down. And finally ‘Engrupid Pipol’ sings farewell through the definition of the band: the commitment to amaze with unexpected variety and admirable running of every single instrument.

With remarkable sound, this full-length is designed for the explorers of the inexact limits of Metal music and its wicked affabilities.
